Father God – Our noses are increasingly pressed to the interconnectedness of our world.
Our lives and choices, for good or ill, affect everyone else.
Make us mindful of:
- those on whose work our welfare depends.
- their own good as made in your image.
- their desires, hopes, dreams and needs.
For those whose bodies are still in public at their post day after day, whether they are on farms or factories, fighting fires for filling orders:
Guard their health and protect them and their family and loved ones, and give them a deep vision of loving others through their actions.
For those who are working in homes or apartments:
Give them concern for others to stay in, focus to finish a day’s work, and creativity to fight the monotony and find you present in this moment.
Put before both a vision of you and your beauty, that all work may be service freely offered for the good of our neighbors and the glory of Jesus, who even now is making all things new.
